So what are the chances of being booked independently two weeks in a row at one of my favourite wedding venues? Pretty slim I reckon. So here I am again, this time in the morning room at Leigh Court near Bristol.
With half of the wedding party coming from Canada this was always going to be an ‘even more special than usual’ wedding reception. For a start there was the first dance, a new one on me I must admit. Then there was the garter toss which was really fun and definitely something we need to do more of in the UK.

As always there was a wide range of ages to keep amused but I’m glad to say that I think I did a good job – but don’t take it from me, here are some words from the bride herself:
“DJ Big Chris played at my wedding and I must say it exceeded my expectations! Even the shyest of guests got up and danced, and the dance floor was packed with all ages, from two year olds to 72 year olds! We had a blast and I will definitely be in contact again for the next event, as well as highly recommend him for anyone who wants their wedding disco to be fun and memorable.”
