Sharing the wedding receptions evening entertainment with a ceilidh band is something I’ve done before – although possibly not as late into the night as this.
The band played two sets and in between these I played some background music whilst the buffet was made available.
Starting the disco proper at 11pm on a Sunday night is always going to be difficult – even more so after the guests have been country dancing for two hours! But I’m always up for a challenge and am pleased to say that I managed to squeeze what little energy the bride, groom and their guests had left out of them.
