My last Wedding of 2013 was a big one – and a new venue for me. It was inside the stunning Orangery at Tortworth Court, a Four Pillars Hotel. I’d already visited the venue with the Bride and Groom a few months previously so knew where to set-up my equipment and when the music needed to finish (ie. bang on midnight). The room looked great in the day but even better at night.
The playlist for the night was a mixture of guests pre-requests, requests on the night and my own choices. The Bride and Groom wanted to end the evening on a stocking load of Christmas songs and an Oasis tune – no problem! Everyone had a great time and as always no one wanted it to end, but as it was a Hotel with other guests staying I abided by the midnight rule – never a bad thing for a DJ!
