This was my first visit to the Guildhall in Bath and it didn’t fail to impress me. The shear size of the room meant that there was ample space for both The King Swingers band and my Wedding disco set-up to sit side-by-side.

I was taking care of the latter part of the evening and it was a pleasure to take over from this excellent covers band who got the guest well and truly warmed up. Before the first dance I’d been playing some heavily Italian influenced background music as the Groom was from Italy – indeed many of the guest had flown over especially. The entire night had the feeling of a holiday Wedding – it was just a shame it had to come to an end at 1am.
