This was a school disco that kicked off at 6.30pm for years three and four for one hour followed by a disco for years five and six for another hour… with a 30 minute break in between for me to get some much needed fresh air.
For the earlier year groups I played a selection of music and games including pass the balloon, limbo and a dance competition but years five and six weren’t having any of that and just wanted their own requests and very loud music – no problem! Having said that one of the requests was for ‘The Only Fools and Horses’ theme tune… a song I don’t currently carry.
