It’s been a couple of years since I’ve DJ’d at Leigh Court. Last time I set up in the Library room, this time I was in the Salon at the rear of the building. To be honest it doesn’t matter which room I was in, I’d forgotten how much I loved the place. I’m a sucker for huge beautiful National Trust type properties and this is one of the best I’ve played.

The Bride and Groom were very relaxed regarding the music – there were no ‘mustn’t play’ songs which is always helpful. The dance floor was filled right from the word go until the very end of the night and I was pleased to say that I managed to get every age group up and dancing – even with the odd request thrown in – Chesney Hawkes anyone?!

The guests really were excellent and when coupled with the friendly staff and the beautiful venue it was a fantastic night. Luckily I wasn’t going to waiting long to return to Leigh Court again…
