Ok, so I guess I was in my element for this party. Being 40 always helps when DJ’ing at a 40th – and as the birthday boy was a massive fan of Depeche Mode we couldn’t think any more alike when it came to music for the night.
Fancy dress helps too – it makes people smile before the evening has even kicked off. Some people had made loads of effort with Teen Wolf being a particular favourite of mine.
By midnight everyone was ready for a change of pace, and decade – the guests had done so well dancing to four hours of continuos 80’s music that we decided a bit of 90’s would go down a treat – which of course it did.
The venue was great, the guests looked brilliant and the birthday boy looked exhausted by the end of the night – excellent fun all round!
